Hand Tied Extensions

In the beauty industry hand-tied extensions have become a quick staple in many stylist service menu. The industry has become flooded with thousands of methods all claiming they are the best. And I’m sure in their own unique way they are. My Method of choice is non other than Invisible Bead Extensions. With so many methods out there why this one? Why IBE? 

Invisible Bread Extensions was created to solve 3 problems that comes from other methods I’ve been certified in. 

Damage to clients hair and scalp from tension,

Client discomfort

And lack of versatility with styling, other methods had exposed beads, bonds etc. 

I was certified in two other methods prior to IBE and I never felt fully confident with these 

Other methods the way that I do with IBE. The amount of support and education that is 

Offered surpasses what the other methods claimed to offer but always fell through. 

Pricing, just like the extensions, isn’t a once size fits all. It can range any where from 600 to 2000. Depending on the length and fullness you choose to go with. 

Typically for someone who is just wanting fullness and isn’t to focused on length, I would suggest 1 Row with anywhere from 3-5 wefts. 

Fine hair: 3-4wefts

Medium hair : 4 -6wefts

If your looking for full blown Bombshell, I woke up like this hair, I would suggest 2 rows maybe even 2 rows and a mini row. 

That would range from 6 wefts to 10 wefts. All placed evenly distributed. 

Most installs do require some custom coloring to insure the perfect match to create a seamless blend. Just because you invested in extensions doesn’t mean anyone should know you did.

With proper care and using salon quality products your extension hair itself can last any where from 7 to 12 months.

Your first appointment after your install is suggested at 6 weeks, this is to insure the health of your scalp and your grow out aren’t causing any unnecessary damage. 

After that most of my clients can go any where from 6-8 weeks. On occasion I have a few who go 10 weeks this is only recommended with clients who have thicker hair. Fine hair shouldn’t go longer than 7weeks.

2 Rows $350

Move ups include a wash and style with a deep moisturizing treatment. 

IBE doesn’t cause any tension on the scalp, There are no exposed beads which means no scalp irritation. They are discreet and give you the ability to wear your hair up day one with no discomfort and no damage to natural hair. I.B.E. is virtually undetectable.

**Disclaimer**

There’s no extension installation or type that could guarantee zero damage but we believe that IBE provides us the most secure and safe method for our clients. The education is focused around understanding how to prevent unnecessary damage from installation, however it is truly up to the client to avoid pulling they're extensions or doing anything that may cause damage at home. 

Choosing to invest in extols doesn’t mean you have to completely change your life styles. 

With IBE you can still work out daily, just make sure to dry the wefts after each work out. Even if you aren’t washing them, in fact the less you wash them the better. Most clients wash their hair about twice a week. 

Swimming; yes you can go swimming with your extensions. YOU MUST PULL YOUR HAIR INTO A BRAID prior to swimming in a pool or ocean. Salt water can be very drying and damaging so coat your hair with bottled water then add a moisturizing leave in prior to taking a plunge, rinse immediately after swimming. Avoid sunscreens with Avobenzone, one of my favorites is Bare Republic. 

Night time: pull it back either in a loose braid or high top knot. Avoid going to bed with it wet and make sure to put oil on the ends before bed.
